What is Duxware?

Duxware is a third generation practice management program developed by Medical Practice Software, Inc. MPS has been a leader in Practice Management Software since 1990.  They have learned many things over the years by working hand in hand with physicians and their staff.  They took this knowledge and transformed it into the Duxware Medical Pracice Software.

The Duxware program is designed to run on the powerful Linux operating system installed on a server at your office.  Because the Duxware program is "Browser Based" in design, it is completely accessible from remote locations as well as physician's and employee's homes.  All that is needed is a high speed internet access at the office and the remote site.

Can I Import My Current Patient Information Into Duxware?

Of course.  A unique quality of Duxware is our ability to electronically extract and import your existing patient data, no matter what type software or hardware you currently have.  This option may save your practice hours by automatically entering your entire patient base, including patient ledger information, carrier base,  and procedure and diagnosis codes.  We offer conversion methods that are least disruptive and most cost effective whether your practice uses an automatic conversion or decides that manual input would be better for your office.

How Easy Is Duxware To Use?

Training on the Duxware system is complete and thorough.  After a day of training, most users with no prior computer experience are able to enter patients, create and file claims and post payments.  Claims can actually be filed on the first day, eliminating the interruption to cash flow often connected with a transition of billing systems.  Most people master the system in just a few training sessions.
